A New Twist on the Old Fashion Fruit Cake!!

OR Fruit Cake Muffins**

Use Any Pound Cake Mix OR Your favorite Fruitcake Recipe
And then ADD:
1 pkg
JD Fruit Stix’s Blueberry
1 pkg JD Fruit Stix’s Berry Blend
1 pkg JD Fruit Stix’s Pina Colada
1 pkg JD Fruit Stix’s Apple Cinnamon

Chopped Walnuts (optional)
Raisins (optional)

1) Use 4 to 5 stixs of each of the 4 different JD Fruit Stix Flavors –
Cut each stick into tiny pieces
Put all the tiny pieces into a sealed container with a TBSP of the dry cake mix
OR if you are using the chopped walnuts just shake the pieces of fruit with the walnuts & raisins to coat them & to keep them from sticking together.
If there are any stixs left over – go ahead and eat them!!

2) Follow the directions on the Pound Cake mix
(I prefer to use the Betty Crocker Pound Cake in the Red Box)
then fold the Fruit Stix pieces, nuts & raisins into the Pound Cake batter
OR with your favorite fruit cake recipe –when it calls for the candied fruits –
just substitute with the
JD Fruit Stix pieces

3) Bake according to the directions of the recipe you are using!
**You can even make some Mini Fruit Cake Bites by using the mini cupcake papers. Fill to the top with aprox 1tsp of mix & bake for 15- 17 minutes. Makes 48+ mini bites!!**

4) ENJOY!!! But remember to get YOUR piece first … because it won’t last long!!
